HOW DID S[EDITION] COME ABOUT?
RN It was an idea that Harry [Blain] had. We met a year and a half ago and came up with this concept for creating a social community for online collectors and a platform for the world’s leading contemporary artists to share their work online. HB It’s something I’d been playing with from
around 1992 when it was about CD-ROM. It’s only over the last five years that it’s become practical and in the last two it’s become inevitable as technology has advanced. Robert was at AOL in the early days so his whole career has been in the internet which is really what’s brought everything together. To be able to have the platform we now have is an exciting realization.
