Born in Caracas, Venezuela, jewelry designer Irene Zingg was the youngest of five children. As a child and teenager, Zingg was very close to her father, a successful entrepreneur and world traveller. “My father was a collector of all things that are beautiful, especially art and jewels. From childhood, I accompanied him to see or purchase jewels and stones for my mother.
