Today Nancy employs over 600 artisans whom she has trained. “We learn together every day. They are the patient inventors of a new know-how,” she says about her craftspeople. The wellbeing of her employees and their families is of utmost importance to her and she uses her position to drive social change. She employs almost only women and provides daycare for their children.

Nancy says, “ Precious skins are like gems; each is nature’s distinctive creation and must be cut and polished depending on their intrinsic forms. It is this collaboration with nature that fuels my imagination and is equally my biggest challenge.”
