To Charlotte Legge and Kate Braine, luxury is “going to work on a gondola” while they are in Venice developing their extraordinary collection of rings made of Murano glass. Charlotte and Kate met as neighbors, and were drawn together by their backgrounds in art and love of jewelry. Seven years ago founded their brand Legge & Braine in response to an intuition they had that women were buying more and more jewelry for themselves. “When you possess one of our rings it is though you have joined a magical club”, they say of their fantastical, colorful pieces, which have been spotted on women worldwide, from the peaks of Machu Picchu to the coral reefs of the Maldives.
