The Fornasetti Atelier is lead by two artisans who have been working with the company for over twenty years, preserving and perfecting the techniques of printing on porcelain, applying gold and painting in colors. They, in turn, has taught a new generation of artisans this art. Barnaba Fornasetti is dedicated to preserving the house’s craft by expanding internship opportunities for young artisans and other initiatives such as the recently published work Fornasetti, l’artista alchimista e la bottega fantastica published by Electa (and to be released in English by Rizzoli under the title Fornasetti, the complete universe at the end of this month) that is almost like a complete handbook on the production process.
