In 2006, Celestina Maristela-Ocampo introduced her eponymous label with signature boxlike minaudières and clutch bags, handmade from indigenous materials. While the ex- model had previously been designing a fashion line, she had no formal training in accessories. She relied on the exceptional materials and artisans of her native Philippines, combined with her innate understanding for proportions, colors and patterns to guide her creative process.

Conceived for the woman who appreciates the elegance of simplicity and the value of quality, Celestina’s creations are an invitation to go on a journey to discover something precious from another part of the world.“I am influenced by

my roots, the uniqueness of Philippine culture, my family traditions, the old world simplicity and elegance that I learned from my mother since I was young” Celestina tells us. She also has a great passion for architecture, which is reflected in her designs.

Celestina utilizes organic materials sourced from the exotic beaches and mountains of the Philippines. She continues: “The abundance of beautiful materials and creative artisans in the Philippines served as my inspiration in creating distinctive designs. A concept is conceived out of my passion to cultivate rare items. But it is through the bare hands of my artisans where my concept becomes tangible and precious. “
